The questions we get asked
No card, no code and no big setup project.
What happens after the free trial?
Choose a plan only if you want to continue. Otherwise, the portal pauses when the 14-day trial ends. No card is taken up front and nothing is charged automatically.
Do I need to be technical?
No. Name the portal, upload your logo and invite a customer. No code, nothing to install, and most people are live in about a minute.
How hard is the AI document checker to set up?
You type one sentence. When you ask a customer for a document, click Add AI check and write what a good one looks like in your own words, such as “dated in the last 12 months with a registration number on it”. Every upload then arrives green, amber or red with a short reason.
What can it check?
Anything you can describe in plain English: the type of document, issue and expiry dates, registration and reference numbers, signatures, whether a field is filled in, totals, and whether a scan or photo is readable. Each document you ask for can have its own check, or none at all.
Does the AI decide for me?
No. It reads the upload against your instruction and gives your team a first answer and a reason. You make the call, and the customer only hears from you.
Can customers sign online?
Yes. Add a signature field to a form or send a PDF for acceptance. PORTALD records who accepted it and when.
Can I use my own web address?
Yes, on the Practice and Enterprise plans. Every portal starts on a branded PORTALD address, and paid plans can also use a verified custom domain you already own.
